SUNDAY SERVICES: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When are the church's services?
We
have
two identical
services
every
Sunday
morning
at 9:00
and 11:00.
What should I wear?
Dress mode is casual.
What are your services like?
WBC's services focus mostly on worship through music and preaching. We’ll share some announcements during the morning, sing songs, and hear a teaching from the Bible. The music is mostly contemporary in style.
If you need personal prayer, prayer teams are always available after every service at the front of the sanctuary.
Our Sunday social hour is between services, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Coffee and muffins
are served at that
time. If you attend
the first service
plan on lingering;
if you attend the
second service come
early.
Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?
Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We do have a gift for guests who are visiting for the first time. This may be picked up at the information desk in the foyer.
What about my kids?
A staffed nursery is available during both services for children up to the age of 2. Pagers are available for parents and if their child needs them, they will be paged.
Availble during the 9 a.m. service only is our
pre-school
program (2 years-kindergarten);
our KidsZone program for children grades 1-4; and Junior Church, grades 5-8. All
have age-appropriate
bible teaching, music and
games.
For
your peace of mind: All our staff are over 19 years of age
and have had a criminal record check.
